BCD Travel Adds British Airways to Its NDC Airlines List

BCD Travel has officially launched New Distribution Capability (NDC) content with British Airways, marking another step in its strategy to bring richer airline retailing options into the corporate travel space.
BCD joined the NDC FastTrack program earlier this month, positioning itself both as a user and a technology partner. NDC FastTrack, introduced by Accelya in collaboration with Sabre and Amex GBT as its initial members, aims to reduce technical barriers and support agencies and airlines as they adopt the NDC standard.
BCD already supports NDC content from 17 airlines worldwide and sees NDC bookings account for up to 65 percent of its client air bookings. The addition of British Airways NDC content further expands access to competitive fares and complementary services.
A few days ago, Accelya welcomed new members to its NDC FastTrack initiative, including FCM Travel, CTM, Fox World Travel, Amadeus, and Travelport.
