Alaska to Disable Hawaiian’s NDC API in 2026 PSS Merge

Alaska Airlines announced it would disable Hawaiian Airlines’ NDC distribution API.
This change is scheduled for April 2026, coinciding with the activation of a single Passenger Service System (PSS).
As Alaska and Hawaiian migrate to one unified PSS, they will phase out redundant technology interfaces to reduce maintenance complexity, starting with Hawaiian’s standalone NDC API.
Travel agencies, corporate travel desks, and technology platforms currently accessing Hawaiian content via its NDC API will need to transition to the new, combined NDC feed under Alaska’s PSS. This ensures continued access to Hawaiian fare bundles, ancillaries, and ticket servicing through the unified system.
Alaska completed its acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines in September 2024. Under a Department of Transportation mandate and internal planning, the two carriers have maintained separate systems until planned full operational integration in 2026.
