Air France‑KLM and Accenture Launch Agentic “AI Factory” on Google Cloud

On July 17, 2025, Air France‑KLM, in partnership with Accenture and Google Cloud, launched a dedicated cloud-based “AI factory”. It consolidates genAI, agentic AI, and machine learning models within a Google Cloud environment.
The targeted impact areas touch ground operations, aircraft engineering and maintenance, and customer service. First implementations include tools like a private AI assistant and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) features that help diagnose aircraft damage.
The platform builds on earlier work: Accenture and Air France‑KLM migrated over 350 core applications to the cloud in early 2025, establishing a foundation for AI deployment.
Julie Pozzi, head of data & AI at Air France-KLM, said they are leveraging genAI to improve airline operations and adapt to changes in the travel landscape.
The AI factory is now operational, hosted on Google Cloud, and powering applications in operational areas.
