Air France Starts London Gatwick Service and Special Cardiff Flights

Air France announced the launch of a new direct service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and London Gatwick, starting March 29, 2026. Additionally, the airline will operate special flights to Cardiff in February 2026 to meet travel demand during the Six Nations rugby championship.
The Paris-Gatwick route will operate two daily flights, served by Air France’s modern Airbus A220 aircraft, offering more options beyond its existing London Heathrow operations. The schedule is designed to provide convenient connections for passengers traveling to South London and the south of England. The special Cardiff flights are a limited-time service catering to sports fans.
This expansion underscores Air France’s strategy to strengthen its short-haul European network. For travelers, the new Gatwick service offers additional streamlined connections, supporting both business and leisure traffic between France and the UK.
This Autumn, Air France-KLM Group has announced its intention to bid for a minority stake of 44.99 percent in TAP Air Portugal.
