Air France, KLM Expand NDC With Delta’s Premium Cabins

Air France and KLM have expanded their New Distribution Capability (NDC) offerings to include interline flights with Delta Air Lines.
The enhancement allows richer content distribution across the transatlantic joint venture, including personalized fares, ancillary services, and dynamic bundles.
Access to Delta inventory
Through the updated NDC integration, Delta’s flight inventory is now visible directly within Air France-KLM booking systems. This includes access to Premium Select cabins as well as SkyMiles-related benefits.
Travel agents and corporate customers can more easily shop and book flights operated by Delta alongside Air France or KLM services, particularly on key transatlantic routes from Paris and Amsterdam to US hubs such as Atlanta, Detroit, and Minneapolis.
Ticketing and booking limitations
Air France-KLM noted that flights booked using the older EDIFACT system cannot be mixed with NDC flights on the same ticket.
That said, Air France-KLM has expanded what can be combined within its NDC environment. Customers can now book Air France or KLM-marketed transatlantic flights together with Delta-marketed flights for onward travel within the Americas and the Caribbean, even if Delta operates those connecting flights.
As long as the full itinerary is purchased through Air France-KLM using NDC, multi-carrier journeys across the joint venture network are supported.
