1754 Properties Acquires NC Marriott, Plans $5M in Upgrades

1754 Properties LLC, a Florida-based property investment company, has acquired the Marriott Winston‑Salem, a 319-room full-service hotel in downtown Winston‑Salem, North Carolina, for an undisclosed price.
Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) will remain in charge of day-to-day operations.
The hotel is located near Wake Forest University, UNC, and Innovation Quarter. It provides over 14,000 sq ft of meeting space, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and direct access to the 150,000 sq ft Benton Convention Center.
1754 plans to invest over $5 million to upgrade meeting spaces, hallways, and infrastructure.
Blue Coast Capital also acquired a Marriott property earlier this month—a 248-room Courtyard by Marriott in Munich.
