About AltexSoft
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is interested in diving deeper in clients business needs, eager to find the best technical solutions solving real-world problems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work closely with our Solutions Architects, Business Analysts, and Domain Experts taking part in client engagement and pre-sales through technical consulting and designing of software solutions that meet business needs. Starting new projects, you will coordinate teamwork, participate in making technical decisions and communicate them to client-side teams and stakeholders, conduct code reviews, communicate with the distributed teams. And, BTW, write code. In this position, you'll collaborate with a team of passionate experts, working within a fully functional development team within our company. Together, you'll contribute to creating an innovative solution, leveraging each other's strengths and expertise to achieve shared goals.

You Have
- Proficiency in several programming languages (Python, Java, and NodeJS)
- Expertise in building AI-powered solutions
- Cloud experience with AWS
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication, teamwork and adaptability,
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Continuous improvement mindset
Would be a plus
- Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with data engineering and big data technologies
- Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of additional programming languages (Go, Scala, etc.)
- Experience building AI-powered solutions or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into software projects
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience in pre-sales and technical consulting
- Experience in Travel Tech domain

- Design and implement scalable cloud-native architectures on AWS
- Work across multiple programming languages to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Solutions Architects and Business Analysts
- Participate in client engagement and technical consulting activities
- Make critical technical decisions and communicate them to stakeholders
- Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high coding standards
- Mentor junior and middle-level team members
- Research and implement cutting-edge AI technologies and best practices
- Coordinate teamwork and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
- Participate in pre-sales activities and technical solution design
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices
