We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team working on a new DMC SaaS platform. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality by validating complex business flows, backend APIs, and integrations, while closely collaborating with developers, product managers, and operations. This role is strongly focused on manual testing, test analysis, and quality ownership across the product lifecycle.
About Project
A well-established DMC focused on safari experiences. The organization builds bespoke itineraries, manages exclusive camps and ground logistics, and delivers high-touch, personalized travel services for international clients. The team values reliability, attention to detail, and seamless guest experiences, and is launching a cloud-native SaaS platform to modernize itinerary planning, supplier inventory, bookings, and client communications.
You will join a cross-functional engineering team to build a new DMC SaaS platform. The role emphasizes backend development with .NET, translating product requirements into robust services, writing tests, and producing technical documentation. AWS experience is a plus but not required.
You Have
- 5+ years of professional experience in Manual QA / Software Testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices
- Hands-on experience testing Web applications and RESTful APIs
- Solid experience with backend-focused testing (API, DB, integrations)
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases (SQL for data validation)
- Experience in requirements analysis, risk-based testing, and test design
- Ability to review and provide feedback on test artifacts created by other QA engineers
- Good communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
- High level of ownership and attention to detail
You Are Going To
- Perform hands-on manual testing (functional, regression, integration, exploratory)
- Analyze requirements and ensure proper test coverage
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases, scenarios, and checklists
- Validate backend logic through API testing
- Perform database validation using SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Support and coordinate the work of 2 Manual QA engineers: help with task prioritization and distribution
- Review test cases and bug reports
- Share best practices and domain knowledge
- Actively collaborate with developers and product managers
- Verify bug fixes and ensure no regressions
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and release readiness activities
