About AltexSoft

We are looking for a Senior FE Engineer to join the team building and evolving a microservices-based B2B travel service platforms. You will work across a modern .NET 8 backend using Clean Architecture and an event-driven microservices ecosystem (RabbitMQ, API Gateway, BFFs), as well as a React/TypeScript frontend used by travel and hospitality partners.

About Project

The team focuses on features such as hotel and condo bookings, cars, cruises, flights, insurance, and experiences, as well as cross-cutting capabilities like payments, certificates, pricing, notifications, and content. In the near term, you’ll contribute to initiatives around certificates and single payment

You Have

  •  5+ years of professional experience with React (React 16+; hands-on experience with React 17 or newer)
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Solid experience with state management solutions (Redux, Redux Toolkit, Redux Thunk, or similar)
  • Practical experience with SPA routing (React Router v5/v6 or equivalent solutions)
  • Confident use of SCSS and component libraries (Ant Design, Bootstrap, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of frontend engineering best practices
  • Writing unit and integration tests
  • Working with Git-based workflows and participating in code reviews
  • Reading, maintaining, and improving existing codebases
  • Ability to design clean, reusable, and maintainable UI components
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day development tasks

Would be a plus

  • Experience with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) and API Gateway patterns
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, social logins)
  • Experience integrating payment providers (Stripe, Authorize.Net, Plaid, or similar)
  • Understanding of secure payment flows, tokenization, and PCI-DSS principles
  • Background in travel, hospitality, or booking platforms (hotels, flights, rentals, insurance, etc.)
  • Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and centralized observability solutions
  • Hands-on experience with internationalization in React (React Intl or similar)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience working with object storage solutions (e.g., S3 for media and assets)
  • Experience building AI-powered solutions or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into software projects

You Are Going To

  •  Lead frontend development efforts across multiple projects and initiatives
  • Own frontend architecture decisions and contribute to long-term technical strategy
  • Integrate frontend applications with internal services and external providers, including payment and content systems
  • Participate in solution design discussions with architects and senior engineers, proposing improvements to performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Maintain high code quality standards through testing, code reviews, and technical documentation
  • Refactor and modernize legacy frontend parts when required
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and backend teams to deliver reliable and secure features
  • Ensure frontend solutions meet performance, usability, and scalability requirements for high-traffic platforms
