Travelport Earns Top IATA NDC Certification, Opens NDC APIs to Four European Firms

Travelport announced it has earned Level 4—the highest level of NDC Certification from IATA. This allows the GDS to authorize third-party providers as certified access points to its Travelport+ NDC APIs.
The announcement comes alongside the onboarding of four European travel tech companies— CEE Travel Systems, NPF (and its client Abreu), Travel Technology & Solutions (TTS), and Vibe, which can now integrate Travelport’s NDC APIs directly into their platforms.
As a result, Travelport extends access to richer airline content on Travelport+ to agencies using these external systems, with TTS alone serving agencies in 126 countries.
Travelport was also the first GDS to receive Level 1 and 2 NDC Aggregator certification from IATA in 2017.
Recently, Airlines Reporting Corporation updated its NDC Best Practices Guide, introducing new recommendations for airlines.
