On July 16, 2025, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier Saudia officially rolled out the Amadeus Nevio, an offer and order-based system (where an Offer is an airline’s proposal in response to the traveler’s request, while an Order refers to a record of a finalized booking).

The airline will migrate from its existing Altéa PSS to Nevio without disrupting ongoing operations.

This makes Saudia one of the world’s first major airlines to implement Order-based retailing. In May 2025, Finnair claimed to be the first airline globally to go live with One Order, also supported by Amadeus Nevio technology.

One Order is a retailing capability that creates an integrated customer record by combining flight details, services, preferences, personal information, and more. IATA launched the One Order initiative to simplify order management by replacing PNRs, EMDs, and e-tickets with a single, unified record.

Saudia and Amadeus have also launched joint innovation centers, collaborating to explore emerging retail technologies.
