Qatar Airways to Add Direct Flights from Doha to The Red Sea

Qatar Airways has announced the launch of three weekly flights operating from Doha (DOH) to Red Sea (RSI), marking the airline’s 12th destination within Saudi Arabia.

This new route will be the only direct flight connecting RSI to over 170 destinations via Qatar Airways’ global network.

The addition of Red Sea aligns with Qatar Airways’ expansion plan in Saudi Arabia, where it currently operates over 130 weekly flights. Through this network, Qatar Airways aims to provide more efficient access between Saudi Arabia and global markets, particularly via its Doha hub.

Opened in 2023, Red Sea International Airport is projected to serve over one million passengers annually by 2030.

Just a couple of days before, Qatar Airways partnered with Ooredoo to create a national hub in Qatar dedicated to AI, cloud, and cybersecurity.
