Porter Airlines to Adopt flydocs for Fleet Management

Porter Airlines has announced plans to deploy flydocs’ Lifecycle Asset Management (LAM) and Digital Records Management (DRM) solutions, aiming to enhance its operational efficiency and fleet management capabilities for its 75-aircraft fleet.
With the integration of flydocs’ LAM and DRM platforms, Porter gains real-time monitoring of its aircraft assets. The solutions incorporate predictive analytics and scenario modeling, enabling the airline to foresee potential issues.
The adoption will be carried out in collaboration with AMOS, the maintenance and engineering software by Swiss Aviation-Software Ltd.
Andy Smith, CCO at flydocs, said: “Porter’s priorities have been clear: reduce manual effort, harness more reliable data, improve compliance, minimise redelivery risk, and streamline maintenance processes to protect revenue.”
Porter Airlines also plans a collaboration with APiJET to deploy its flight path optimization technology to cut fuel use and reduce emissions.
