Platinum Equity, an American private equity investment firm, has announced that it will acquire Anuvu, a provider of in-flight entertainment (IFE) and connectivity (IFC) solutions for airlines, VIP aircraft, and cruise ships.
The acquisition is expected to close in 2025 Q4, with financial terms not disclosed.
Headquartered in Lombard, Illinois, Anuvu services more than 150 airlines and 30 cruise-line operators worldwide. The company operates through two main divisions:
- Media Technology Services delivers and localizes entertainment content.

Platinum Equity manages approximately $50 billion in assets across 58 companies.
The investment firm sees opportunities to leverage Anuvu for expansion into new markets, such as advertising and media processing.
