Navan’s New AI Booking Tool Tackles Multi-City Trips

Navan has rolled out an upgraded AI-powered booking tool designed to handle complicated multi-city itineraries that typically require human assistance.
The system can manage trips with four or five international legs by using advanced algorithms and newer data sources such as NDC airline content.
How it works
Navan’s upgraded tool scans thousands of itinerary possibilities, displays pricing for each leg, and supports a single checkout flow even when flights span several airlines.
If one segment cannot be booked due to availability or pricing issues, the system still secures the remaining flights and allows the user to adjust only the affected portion.
The platform also taps into expanded NDC inventories, which provide more competitive fares, better seat availability, and options that legacy systems frequently overlook.
Who benefits the most
The upgrade is especially valuable for business travelers who frequently manage intricate itineraries across major global hubs.
By eliminating manual work and reducing booking errors, Navan helps companies control travel spending, strengthen policy adherence, and reduce the workload on travel managers.
Navan’s IPO journey
The launch aligns with Navan’s broader growth strategy following its initial public offering on October 30, 2025, which raised about $923 million.
The company is investing heavily in AI and fintech features to strengthen its position in a recovering corporate travel market and expand its reach among large enterprise clients.
