Navan Unlocks Discount Rates with Expanded Booking.com Integration

Navan, a travel, payments, and expense management platform, has unveiled an upgraded API integration with Booking.com aimed at significantly expanding accommodation choices, including hotels and alternative properties located outside traditional business hubs, where availability has historically been more limited for managed travel programs.
Access to discounted rates and closed-user group pricing
Navan customers now gain access to closed-user group pricing from Booking.com, unlocking a wider range of discounted rates. These include loyalty-based pricing, mobile-exclusive rates, as well as seasonal and region-specific discounts that are not typically visible to the general public.
Importantly, these offers can be stacked with Booking.com’s Mobile Discounts, creating additional cost-saving opportunities that flow directly into corporate travel bookings without requiring separate searches or manual comparisons.
Simplified payments and fewer booking disruptions
By streamlining the exchange of payment data between Navan and Booking.com, the updated connection is expected to reduce common booking issues such as card rejections, missing payment details, or failed confirmations. This leads to smoother transactions, fewer manual interventions, and faster reconciliation for expense and finance teams.
Future accommodation features
The Booking.com API integration also lays the groundwork for future enhancements within Navan. Potential upcoming features include dedicated tags such as a “work-friendly” label for non-hotel properties, helping travelers quickly identify accommodations that meet business needs like reliable WiFi, workspace availability, and flexible check-in options.
Continued expansion of airline NDC content
Earlier this month, Navan also strengthened its air content offering by adding Emirates to its growing list of airlines distributing NDC fares. Navan users can now book, modify, cancel, and refund Emirates tickets directly within the platform. With Emirates onboard, Navan now supports NDC content from 24 airlines, further expanding its ability to deliver modern airline retailing within managed corporate travel workflows.
