Poland’s LOT Signs Travelport+ Deal to Roll Out NDC in Q2 2026

Travelport and LOT Polish Airlines have signed a multi-year content agreement that will bring LOT’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) content into Travelport+, with implementation targeted for the second quarter of 2026.
Travel agencies and corporate travel managers connected to Travelport+ will be able to shop and book LOT’s complete offers, including fares and paid extras, within the same system they already use, with the airline describing the content with no added surcharge.
Airlines want richer offers sold in agency channels, not only direct
Airlines are moving toward retailing strategies where the offer is more than a seat and a fare code. NDC modernizes how airlines share offers with sellers like travel agencies, including better display of bundles and ancillaries. That matters because many travelers now compare trips based on the total package—bags, seat selection, flexibility, and perks—not just the base fare. By putting LOT’s NDC offer into Travelport+, the airline expands its reach while keeping tighter control over how its products are presented.
Clearer comparisons, fewer gaps, faster shopping
For agents, the biggest benefit is fewer “blind spots” when they price a trip. Travelport+ lets agents view and compare an airline’s fares and services on a single screen, reducing the back-and-forth of checking what is included and what costs extra.
The company is also pushing speed as a selling point: it says Travelport+ search is now 23 percent faster, with results in about 0.84 seconds, which matters in busy agency workflows where time affects how many quotes an agent can build and how quickly a traveler can decide.
The near-term milestone is the delivery of LOT NDC content in Travelport+ in the second quarter of 2026. LOT is also positioning itself as a key connector for Central and Eastern Europe through Warsaw and its Star Alliance membership.
