Kasa Raises $40M for Tech and AI Upgrades

Kasa, a property management company specializing in boutique hotels and apartment-style accommodations, has announced the successful raise of $40 million in growth funding.
The company has steadily raised capital over time. In 2020, Kasa raised approximately $50 million across its Series A and B rounds to fund initial growth. In 2023, it obtained $70 million in a Series C round to expand into single-family vacation homes and boutique hotels.
The new capital will be invested in technology and AI, specifically Kasa’s proprietary hospitality operations system.
Silver Lake Waterman leads the round, along with major real estate investors like Starwood Capital, Berkshire, Greystar, and Prudential.
Founded in 2016, Kasa operates over 85 properties across more than 45 US markets. The company generates annual booking revenues of over $100 million and has more than doubled its business in the past year.
Most recent funding cases (August 2025) also include Highside Companies securing $500 million from affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Eve Air Mobility’s $230 million equity raise, and Elivaas securing approximately $10 million in its Series B round.
