Emirates Partners with OpenAI, Changes Company Culture

Emirates has announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to expand and strengthen the airline’s use of AI across its operations.
As part of the agreement, Emirates will roll out ChatGPT Enterprise to employees company-wide and introduce extensive training programs.
The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer service, and support better decision-making by integrating AI into routine processes.
Employees will receive role-specific training, opportunities to experiment with AI features, and ongoing guidance from company leadership to help make AI adoption a foundational part of Emirates’ organizational culture.
A key element of the partnership is the establishment of an AI Center of Excellence, which will serve as a hub for innovation. Through this center, Emirates will gain early access to OpenAI’s newest research and capabilities, enabling the airline to explore advanced solutions such as personalized travel recommendations and optimized workflows.
For Emirates, AI is a strategic investment that will help the airline stay ahead in a competitive global aviation market.
In addition, earlier this year, Emirates partnered with Crypto.com to integrate Crypto.com Pay into its digital payment ecosystem. Expected to launch in late 2025 or early 2026, this will allow customers to use cryptocurrencies to purchase flight tickets, upgrades, and ancillary services.
