Delta Air Lines has revealed that its Q3 2025 record revenue was significantly boosted by its loyalty program and its partnership with American Express.

In Q3 2025, Delta received approximately $2 billion from American Express, representing a 12 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

In 2024, Delta earned about $7.4 billion from its partnership with Amex, and executives now forecast this could grow to $10 billion in the long term.

The revenue is generated from co-branded credit card spending by Delta’s frequent flyer customers, who use the Amex Delta credit cards for their everyday purchases.

This reinforces Delta's focus on attracting and serving high-paying travelers. Just recently, Delta announced plans to launch new Delta One check-in areas at all of Delta’s US hub airports, as part of the airline’s strategy to expand its premium offerings.
