Brussels Airlines Added to Lufthansa-Singapore JV’s Europe-Asia Network

Lufthansa Group has announced that Brussels Airlines is now part of its joint venture (JV) with Singapore Airlines, a partnership launched in 2015.
Starting October 26, 2025, customers can book flights with a Brussels Airlines code between Singapore and Brussels, with flights operated by Singapore Airlines.
The Lufthansa Group and Singapore Airlines partnership provides joint fares, coordinated schedules, and shared revenue on routes connecting Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
With Brussels joining, the JV expands its network reach, providing greater connectivity and more itinerary choices between Singapore, Belgium, and beyond.
This development also hints at the potential inclusion of other Lufthansa and Singapore’s subsidiaries into the JV, further broadening travel options across Europe and Asia.
Meanwhile, just three days ago, United Airlines and Air Canada submitted a request to the US DOT to add ITA Airways to their transatlantic A++ JV, which currently includes United, Air Canada, and the Lufthansa Group.
The goal is to strengthen the alliance’s competitive position and improve connectivity between North America, Italy, and key European hubs.
