BCD Travel Joins Accelya's NDC Adoption Program FastTrack

BCD Travel has officially joined NDC FastTrack, a collaborative industry program created by Accelya to accelerate the adoption and implementation of the New Distribution Capability (NDC).
In this initiative, the company will contribute both as a user and as a technology partner. BCD’s Travel Commerce Platform will play a central role in identifying and solving technical issues that have limited NDC adoption across the corporate travel sector.
Thane Jackson, BCD’s Senior VP of Supplier Management and Delivery, noted that the company currently supports NDC for 17 global airlines, with clients making up to 65 percent of their air bookings through NDC fares.
The FastTrack program focuses on sharing best-practice resources to make NDC adoption more accessible, bringing together travel sellers, technology providers, and corporate customers to accelerate improvements.
Key elements of the program include coordinated roadmaps, implementation guides, technical frameworks, use cases, and case studies demonstrating real-world adoption and results.
The first organizations to join were Sabre and Amex GBT, with SAP Concur endorsing the initiative.
