Amex GBT to Relaunch Egencia, Integrates SAP Concur

American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) has announced plans to launch an upgraded version of its Egencia platform in early 2026, introducing enhanced agentic AI search capabilities and a redesigned customer experience.
The platform will deliver personalized travel recommendations and proactive support throughout the travel journey.
Travelers will receive tailored suggestions based on company policies, personal preferences, and real-time data such as flight availability or disruptions.
Egencia will also be integrated with SAP Concur Expense, enabling synchronization between travel bookings and expense management. The goal here is to improve expense accuracy and automate reporting for both travelers and finance teams.
The launch reflects Amex GBT’s broader strategy to modernize its technology ecosystem and enhance user experience, particularly following its acquisition of CWT, which has expanded its client base and strengthened its market position.
The company showed strong momentum in the third quarter of 2025, with 13 percent revenue growth, also driven by the CWT acquisition and the ongoing rebound in corporate travel demand.
