Air India–Saudia Codeshare Links Major Hubs from Feb 2026

Air India and Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, have signed a codeshare agreement, with flights under the partnership scheduled to begin in February 2026.
The partnership is designed to expand and improve connectivity for passengers traveling between India and Saudi Arabia, two markets with strong business, leisure, religious, and diaspora travel demand.
Expanded access within Saudi Arabia
Under the new arrangement, Air India passengers flying into Saudi Arabia will gain onward connections on Saudia-operated flights through major hubs such as Jeddah and Riyadh.
These connections open access to a wide range of domestic destinations, including Dammam, Abha, Gassim, Gizan, Madinah, and Taif, significantly improving coverage across the Kingdom and making multi-city itineraries easier to plan and book.
Broader reach across India
In return, Saudia passengers will be able to connect onto Air India flights via key Indian gateways such as Delhi and Mumbai. From these hubs, travelers can reach major cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur, as well as more than 15 additional destinations across India.
Part of a wider regional strategy
In October 2025, Saudia expanded its interline agreement with SriLankan Airlines, linking 13 international destinations in SriLankan’s network with 13 domestic cities across Saudi Arabia.
Together, these agreements reflect Saudia’s broader effort to strengthen connectivity and position its hubs as key gateways between Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
