Oleksandr Medovoi, President & CEO of AltexSoft, Joins NURE Advisory Board

Kharkiv, Ukraine – February 26, 2021 – Oleksandr Medovoi, President & CEO of AltexSoft, a technology consulting company, became a member of the advisory board of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE). The university is one of the leading educational institutions in Ukraine that offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs for technology professionals.

The advisory board is represented by top managers and CEOs of technology companies, members of local and national government agencies, and trade unions, all of whom define the direction and the regulatory framework for the university’s development. As the newly elected member, Oleksandr participated in the first strategic session held January 15-16, 2021. The board members, along with Valerii Semenets, President of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, discussed the university’s strengths and weaknesses and defined the vision for development through to 2027. The board members have also discussed the projects that will help NURE achieve a leading position among the technological universities on both national and global levels.

AltexSoft has already collaborated with NURE to introduce initiatives such as the Advanced IT Talents program and has supported events for students such as AI Hackathon in 2019. “I have always seen my alma mater as one of the best universities in Ukraine, whose alumni impact the global IT industry. In this role, I see an opportunity to contribute to the education of a younger generation of engineers on their way to a professional future,” says Oleksandr Medovoi.

In 2020, Oleksandr Medovoi was elected to the Advisory Board of IT Ukraine Association for 2021 and became a member of the Advisory Council for the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
