Manifest

In travel and transportation, a manifest is a detailed list of passengers, guests, or cargo on a particular vehicle, such as a plane, cruise ship, or tour bus. It typically includes names, contact information, booking references, and sometimes special requests like meal preferences or medical needs.

A manifest is critical for operational, security, and emergency purposes. Airlines, for instance, rely on passenger manifests to track who is on board and share necessary information with immigration or security authorities. Tour operators also use manifests to keep track of all participants during multi-stop itineraries.

In the case of group travel or large MICE events, a manifest helps hotels and transportation providers coordinate services smoothly. Manifests are often generated using reservation systems, travel booking engines, or specialized event management software.
