Island hopping

Island hopping is a style of travel where a person visits multiple islands in a single trip rather than staying on just one. It is typically organized through scheduled ferry services or private boat charters. Sometimes, even flights are used if islands are far apart or ferry services are limited.

Travelers can book ferries between islands individually, rent private boats for customized routes, or join organized tours where transportation and accommodations are pre-arranged.

Each island might offer different attractions. For example, in the Philippines, island hopping is extremely popular. In Palawan, tourists hop between places like El Nido’s Bacuit Archipelago islands, visiting hidden lagoons and secluded beaches.
