IATAN

IATAN (International Airlines Travel Agent Network) is an association of travel businesses that represents the interests of its members. An independent department of IATA, it offers similar services but for US-based travel businesses only. 

The main benefits of IATAN certification include access to participating airlines’ inventory, ticketing power, industry recognition, access to specialized IATAN programs, and more.To obtain IATAN accreditation, the travel business must have over 2 years of experience, be registered in the USA, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, or American Samoa, be ARC-certified, submit a package of required documentation, and pay a registration fee.
