High-season travel

High-season (or peak-season) travel refers to travel demand at its peak, typically driven by holidays, school vacations, popular events, or favorable weather conditions.

During high season, airlines, hotels, and other travel providers experience a significant increase in bookings, enabling them to charge higher prices due to heightened demand and limited availability.

This contrasts with off-peak or low seasons, when travel demand is lower, and discount rates are more common.High season also encourages early booking, as travelers who want to secure services during peak times are more likely to book in advance.
