Valet parking

Valet parking (or valet service) is a service that some businesses (like upscale hotels, restaurants, casinos, hospitals, etc.) offer to their customers, allowing them to leave their car at the entrance and have it parked by an employee called a valet. The valet also returns the car to the customer when they are ready to leave. In hospitality businesses, valets also greet guests and help with loading/unloading luggage.

Valet parking is offered to make customers feel more welcome and comfortable. It’s especially convenient in places where parking is scarce or difficult like busy urban neighborhoods.

Some businesses may charge a fee for valet parking, while others offer it for free.

Valets can be employees of the business that offers this service to their customers or be hired from a third-party valet service provider.
