Return journey

A return journey is a trip in which a traveler goes from an origin point to a destination and then returns to the original starting point. It is also commonly called a round trip in the US.

A return journey is planned as part of the same itinerary, which allows airlines or other transport providers to price, manage, and control the trip as a single booking rather than two separate segments.

Return journeys typically offer better pricing, more convenient ticketing, and simpler management of changes or disruptions.
