Hotel billback
A hotel billback is a payment arrangement in which the cost of a service is billed after it is provided rather than paid upfront by the person using it.
It is common in the context of business travel. Hotel billback allows corporate travelers to stay at hotels without personally settling the bill at checkout. Instead, the hotel invoices the traveler’s employer directly or via a travel management company (TMC).
This practice eliminates the need for employees to use personal funds or corporate cards during their stay and avoids the administrative burden of expense reimbursement.
