Lead booker

A lead booker is an individual who takes primary responsibility for making and managing a group reservation.

This person acts as the main point of contact between the travel provider or event operator and the other travelers in the group, handling all bookings, payments, and communications.

The lead booker must check in or attend the event in person to grant access to the whole group.

For example, on Ticketmaster, the name of the lead booker will appear on each ticket. Upon arrival at the venue, the lead booker must present their ID to verify their identity against the name on the tickets.
