Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) is a hypothetical form of AI that surpasses human intelligence in nearly all cognitive tasks. Unlike Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI), which is specialized in specific tasks, or Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which aims to match human-level reasoning, ASI would have advanced problem-solving, learning, and reasoning that exceed human capabilities.

The potential of ASI lies in its ability to self-improve, innovate, and operate at a level beyond human capacity. However, achieving it also raises significant ethical and societal considerations.
