About AltexSoft

We are looking for an experienced BA with a product mindset who will strengthen our expert community, willing to get involved in engagements at their earliest stages and deepen practical knowledge in the Travel domain. You will be able to get hands-on experience with product management approaches and techniques.

About Project

In this position, you’ll collaborate with a team of passionate experts, working within a fully functional development team within our company. Together, you’ll contribute to creating innovative solutions, leveraging each other’s strengths and expertise to achieve shared goals.

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, covering the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience in writing both business and technical requirements, user stories, and specifications.
  • Technical mindset: ability to understand solution architecture, system logic, APIs, integrations, and databases.
  • Experience with APIs (reading documentation, analyzing JSON/XML, describing integration flows).
  • Solid understanding of data structures, relationships, and basic SQL for data validation or analysis.
  • Proven involvement in discovery and pre-sales phases: shaping product vision, defining scope, contributing to estimates.
  • Confident knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.) in daily workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Would be a plus

  • Previous experience in the Travel domain or exposure to travel booking, airline, or hospitality platforms.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma, Replit).
  • Familiarity with integration platforms - n8n, make, Zapier
  • Participation in AI-powered projects

You Are Going To

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support change management initiatives.
  • Support project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, methodologies, and industry trends to enhance analysis quality.
  • Lead the discovery and requirement gathering phases for new solution projects.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities including scoping, estimations, and solution framing.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Drive backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning.
  • Participate in product visioning, roadmapping, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Contribute to internal BA practices, mentoring junior colleagues, and promoting best practices.
