About AltexSoft

We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team working on a new DMC SaaS platform. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their QA career who wants to grow in manual testing, backend/API validation, and understanding of real-world business systems, working closely with senior QA and developers.

Cloud-native SaaS platform for itinerary planning, supplier inventory, bookings, and client communications. Backend-driven system with real business logic

You Have

  • 1+ years of experience in Manual QA / Software Testing (or strong theoretical background)
  • Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC Experience testing web applications
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
  • Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports
  • Understanding of bug life cycle
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail and responsibility for assigned tasks

Would be a plus

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Insomnia)
  • Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum Experience testing SaaS or cloud-based applications
  • Familiarity with AWS Interest in travel, hospitality, or booking systems

You Are Going To

  • Execute manual test cases for web and backend features
  • Perform functional and regression testing
  • Assist with exploratory testing under guidance of senior QA Validate API responses using tools like Postman or Swagger (with guidance)
  • Perform basic database checks using SQL queries
  • Report bugs with clear reproduction steps and evidence
  • Re-test fixed issues and support regression cycles Collaborate with QA, developers, and product team
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and QA-related discussions
